With a mix of Australian, Palestinian, Scottish, and Russian TJ's background is exotic to say the least!

TJ (first name Tarek, middle name Jafar, after his dad and the baddy from Aladdin!) Was born and raised in Muswell hill north London. Along with big brother Nidal and their best friend and next-door neighbour Steve the 3 boys enjoyed a happy childhood. They were all crazy about BMX, breakdancing and movies. While fads and phases come and go TJ’s passion for movies never waned. TJ used to practice with different accents and routines on his family much to the delight of baby sister Kami. The fact that his mum was on the TV when TJ was a kid also made the call to the screen even harder to resist. From as far back as he can remember TJ wanted to become an actor.

At the age of 11 TJ went to boarding school in Ramsgate, Kent. Whilst taking his GCSEs and then A-levels, TJ was able to further pursue his love of drama.

At 18 he left school and attended King's College London. Whilst enjoying his time here TJ thought that university would not take him any closer towards his dream of becoming an actor so he dropped out. About a year later TJ decided he needed to explore more of the world and himself so he moved to Sydney, Australia. It was here that TJ really started the ball rolling. He appeared in numerous TV ads, drama programmes and even a few films. After a very happy 3 years he returned to London. TJ landed an agent and whilst working as a cocktail bartender to pay the bills he started auditioning again.

Since then TJ has enjoyed a wide range of different roles on the stage and screen. He truly loves his work and is overjoyed at being able to realise his childhood dream of becoming an actor. He's still hugely ambitious and has set himself his next target. TJ wants to be James bond. Well, in about 7 or 8 years maybe!
